In collaboration with Martin Hernandez, a distinguished Mexican Maestro Rotulador with over 40 years of experience, we’ve created the unique “Migrant” Font alongside the art for our “Napkins of Rights” project.

Hernandez thinks of migration as a tree rooted in the earth that needs to be uprooted and moved to another place. With that in mind he created a distinctive hand-drawn font where every element of the typography have characteristics simulating a leaf falling off a tree – creating a trail that tells a story of every immigrant’s journey of sacrifice, leaving their homes to seek a better future.

The Migrant Font has been digitized for future use in all FLIC campaigns, website and is now available for purchase and download.
